the first clue in paris sends them to a big ferries wheel in paris which closes at 1230am so only the first four teams get there that night the rest must wait till 9am (kevin/drew just miss it). the detour is “tough climb” climbing notre dame (Where lenny/karyn went last leg by mistake). “easy walk” finding foocaluts pendulum where they are two in paris they must go to the pantheon one nto the arts and crafts museum. kevin/drew do the fast forward which is a tea shop and getting a certain tea they don’t win the leg by much but it helps. all the lead teams do easy walk the trailing teams do tough climb. but pat/brenda go to the wrong museum putting them last. joe/bill are accused of cutting in line at the pantheon but thats questionable as they just were in the right spot when the woman called. the next clue sends them to the hotel de ville in paris where the roadblock walking two blocks in the sewers which messes up the order a bit with dave/mageretta and pat/brenda now behind. the teams must take a trai to the les baux in the south of france the pitstop with the trailing two teams a train behind but there is a trick if they get off at avingon they get a big time advantage over marseille this saves the grandparents who get up to 5th but dooms pat/brenda who are eliminated.
