11 teams depart for the pyramid of the sun derek/drew do the fast forward at a museum flying with some people (the voladeres) giving them a lead. jilll impresses everyone during the climb up the pyramid after several teams get lost getting there andre/damon barely get there after opening but do pass two teams. the next clue sends them to a marina in cancun by bus (a 24 hour ride). the first 6 teams have a 3 hour lead on the busses (but derek/drew stilll get 1st with the fast forward despite being on the 2nd bus). the 2nd bus has a crash but isn’t delayed too much. the next clue is a detour of “man power” doing a kayak to search an area or “horse power” do a wave runner through a different course some teams can’t handle the runner but is better. the next stop is the island of cozamel by boat. tramel/talacia fall behind at the detour and navigating leaving them a boat behind. the roadblock is swimming with dolphins. the pitstop is in tulum where tramel/talacia are eliminated.
