9 teams leave austria for le mans france by flying to paris steve/josh blow their lead by taking the train to salzburg instead of taxing a taxi straight there. raichen/chip accidently book bussiness class so they get off their connection in frankfurt (must fly economy) and lose an hour millie/chuck lead taems in giving kelly/jon the shake the later is level last with steve/dave. in le mans the roadblock is changing tyres on a car than getting to race around. before driving all day to marselle where the next morning tian/jaree and raichen/chip somehow are able to cut in line and annoy the other teams (even though it was the staff who wanted them to). the next clue sends them to the mountains while tian/jaree get the fast forward solving a puzzle. the detour that all teams choose is repelling with steve/josh very lost and some teams make basic errors and steve/josh are eliminated.
