the first clue sends them to uruguay on one of two flights american or united (american leaves first but arrives second). jim is badly injured from a post at the pier. dennis/erika try and book tickets at american for other teams not realising it is the slower flight delaying the other teams. jim is given stitches before being allowed to continue. dennis/erika marshall/lance chip/kim and colin/christie are on the slower flight. the first stop is the hand via bus. than goirite island to search for deprature times for the morning which puts brandon/nicole beihnd with the 2nd flight teams on the third boat back. they hten race to a meat warehouse there is also a yield which no one uses to slow down one team for a certain amount of time. the next stop is a blue and white hotel in punteo del este dennis/erika give up a cab to colin/christie to redem himself from earlier while kami/karli and chip/kim don’t get the clue oppoiste the hotel which they will have to get later. the clue is a detour of “zips” riding a zip line into a swimming pool on top of the hotel. “chips’ play roulette if you run out of chips you must do zips but no one who does this runs out of chips. the pitstop is casa pubelo where chip/kim and kami/karli are sent back dropping from 1s tand 2nd respecitively to 8th and 9th but dennis/erikas kindness does them in and are eliminated. alison/donny are 1st.
