josh feels like he is in the middle of the tribe as a swing vote. while the clue for an idol confuses some sarah finds it and thinks she will make it thruogh but it is a fake idol as carrolyn claims to have the real one. for a tarp the reward challenge is won by soka with sarah proving costly for tika with matthew still doing ok despite an arm injury securing 2nd with ratu. in a twist the journey leads to a swap of tribes with an immunity idol for only till the possible merge and a swap of 3 players carson goes to ratu josh to tika and jamie to soka. carson bonds with matthew who tells him about jamies fake idol. tika lose the water immunity challenge. the vote looks like being josh due to him being new but they through a vote on sarah as a fail safe originally saying carrolyn. josh plays his idol and sends sarah home 2-0.
