ash arrrives in peltaburg city and gets seperated from may and ends up at the gym where finds out may is the daughter of the gym leader and meets max (mays broher) as well after a batttle agianst norman (mays dad and gym leader) is interupted by team rocket who accidently take torchic but they get it back. max joins ash and may on the journey.
