heading for vermilion the pokegear goes off saying that pallet town had been attacked and that professor oak is senidng all of ash’s pokemon at the lab to him and there is no limit now on how many pokemon they can carry due to a new system that the theivs are after. they ask if there mums ok and say no humans have been hurt yet and the damage was stopped by some legendries as well as some tough traiers in the area but be careful. to destress they go fishing and lika and lyra both catch a poliwag which will be helpful. oak tells lyra that the next contest is vermilion and apologies for being tough on them.
