they arrive in fuschia city ready for a gym battle when they encounter a ninja demonstration lead by janine the gym leader who says that she took over from koga when koga joined the elite 4 a while ago but needs help with something before the gym battle which they do help with. before the match lyra says something happened to lika and ash’s eyes supprising them.
