the theives scrammble to figure out who is intruding into their hideout while dan figures out they stupidly left the code for the security lock and are able to get out while they are distracted and run into freed and roy who are glad they are ok and go on a rescue to get the pokemon out but ryan stops them to challenge lika to a battle which she agrees using poliwag to beat his rhydon. in anger ryan presses a button to destroy the room there in not realising the cancellation code is irght there when liko turns up having recovered stops it and quickly ryan retreats as the pokemon are taken to safety freed says he can drop them closer to the seafoam islands there next stop and then says he will ask a favor.
