after lika registers offically for the pokemon league a man named ritchie who ash knows saying that he is now working for the pokemon league and wants to see if ash still has it which he does in a all-pikachu battle so lika challenegs him and ends up narrowly winning. ritchie says he is concerned about a lot of rumors with some of the trainers when ryan turns up trying to disqualify lika but fails. likas first round opponent is greg from scizor street.
