the group are still working on figuring out who likas semi final opponent is ash has an idea and decides to go and ask if it is before the match but is stopped by tobias with some equipment he had stolen from ryan saying that he needs ash’s powers and tries and takes it but is quickly stopped by some pokemon ash goes to find officer jenny and even defeats some of the theives but takes a while to find them meanwhile dan gets a call from home saying after the league he will have to go home due to a issue int he family health wise. the mysterious girl finds ash and they discuss what happens and ash realises the girl is mago also from the city of the wind festival who had just become a trainer they discuss the upcoming match and what has been going on with the theives and legendries mago gives ash a note also one for lika to open after the match. when they reunite they make the decisions that dan will return home and reveal the identity but than freed turns up with a supprise for all of them.
