they are told about a pokemaniac called mr pokemon so on their way to meet him but find the theives waiting for them but are beaten quickly they than enter and are told to take a pokemon egg with an interesting pokemon inside it so lika takes it they than head for violet city where the first contest is as well as a gym battle.
