a 767 leaves addis addaba for narobi when it is hijacked by 3 men who force the fo out of the cockpit and try and force the captain to fly to australia which is too far on 3 hours fuel but the captain is in the middle of his 3rd hijacking in his carrer and tries to defy them and eventually wants to land in the comoros islands but can’t convince them and only one passenger stands up to the hijackers to try and save the plane (a famous camera man). the plane runs out of fuel and is forced to ditch just off the coast of the commoros somehow 50 people including a already injured fo and the captain survive the crash but 125 inclduing the 3 hijackers and the camera man are killed it is unclear what there intentions were other than seeking aslyum in australia.
