after visiting the hermitage the teams fly to cairo egypt with colin/christie getting a flight ahgead of everyone originally by 50 minutes but because of finding a flight in paris thats quicker ladn 12 hours ahead of charla/mirna (who changed tickets in frankfurt) and nearly 13 hours ahead of everyone else. colin/christie get the fastfoward which is carrying a sophychis to a place arriving at the pitstop 3 hours before the 2nd team arrives (a clue hours cost them about 6 hours). the roadblock is decending into a mine shaft to grab puzzle pieces and than solve a puzzle which kami/karli struggle at to find the detour clue but chip/kim help costnig the later 3rd the detour is riding camels (closed at 530 so only charla/mirna could do it) or lifting a rock with a pully system. linda/karen can’t keep up but its a non-elim but have to give up all their money and won’t receive any more for the next leg.
