ryder and matilda (with her pup zuma) arrive in adventure bay for the auditions mayor goodway heres ryder talking but doesn’t think its the same ryder who invented the stuff (the picture wasn’t shown by ryder during that time). Ryder and matilda meet their friend mitch whose with marshall interestingly there aren’t many pups auditiioing in fact only the aviator role is a contest as skye faces off against a pup named sweetie who had a different owner at the time (yes the one thats with the princess in the series) but mayor goodway is reluctant for either of them as only having one female pup to start would not be a good look even zero would be better in her posiiton but doesn’t say anytihng and awards the role to skye on trial on the condition that ryder is the human leader which he had acctually won the audition easily over rockys owener lewis who was worried about being lonely is why he tried ryder asks if the oweners can stay while they settle in mayor goodway says yes but not perminantely overnight but can viist often meanwhile sweeites owner plans revenge.
