a 737 for surjaya air crashes into the java sea with no survivors after a delayed departure due to weather after an climb and engine power change when the crew lose control of the plane in a bank with the weather not helping things leading to disorientiaton but the auto throtle is a big factor in why the engines wern’t even due to a computer bug which is due to a jammed throttle with maitence effecting it. the older design of the 737 which has a problem if the autopilot can’t work disconnect the auto throtlle which threw the crew which lead to it activating too late so the main cause was autoatoin being too powerful nnd the crew overrelying on it.
