the light is from the mayors home where his daughter mago suddenly gains strong powers while staying human and gets all the info flow to her as well she realises ash is in town and goes to get the information to him which she knows a bit about what is going on they discuss this and figure there is something bigger going on when lillie speaks mago can suddenly understand it the town is saved though.
