this is my reflection on the passion story from luke which is the main gospel on this years palm sunday.
luke 22 14 23-56
the story starts with the last supper when jesus sat down with his deciples sharing his last meal then the bit where he says his prayer and the deciples fall asleep (which is shorter in lukes version) as well as the trial which includes that herod and pilate knew each other and reconciled due to jesuses trial (which i had forgotten about) as well as the death on the cross. this is really about the end of jesus life and this is all about how he sacrificd himself for our sins. there will be special reflections this week for holy thursday good friday and holy saturday (i may also doone on the chrism mass as well it depends on how things go). i am also going to do another one today about the entrance to jeresulum gospel they have at the start of todays mass.
