personal experience – flew them in 2005 a bit disappointing at the back of the plane with a stranger between my family (due to being in last row with 5 accross) on a dash 8 (operated by a subsiduary) from montreal to ottawa and landing in heathrow after a long over night flight having to wait ages to disembark due to no aerobridge and a technical fault delaying departure.
