“birthday camping”
zahri and marilda had been best friends for a long time but since they started school they had a bond of getting along with the neighbour hood dogs even though they didn’t have a pet. they had lived apart for their joint 7th birthday there parents had a few supprises for them including letting them be outside in the yard for the first time at night they set up a tent and leave them some snacks. the girls talk as the sun starts to set an odd buzzing sound is in their ears suddenly marilda notices something at zahris rear and notices a tail zahri says the same thing is happening to her they try and get their parents attention who say they’ll explain in the morning. them now border collie puppies decide to explore knowing the town lets dogs and puppies do what they want if there careful. just after leaving their home they meet a pup named leo a german sheppard but zahri remembers was her classmate till he went missing two days ago on his birthday and explains that kids in this town turn into puppies on their 7th birthday if born on a full moon which they were and the change is permanant the girls smile and are told their parents and any siblings can understand them but no other humans can and other people don’t know they existed they got back to the tent and went to sleep. after a conversation with their parents who knew all that and they enjoy their new dog life.
