personal experience – i flew here in 2009 and 2010 and while the airport is massive and has a lot of facilities it is slightly overrated a lot of this i will explain in my emirates right up today its got a lot of shops.
the tv series ultiminate airport dubai which run for 3 seasons in the mid 2010s was filmed here and is quite good if you can track it down.
