a young girl named macey hears rumors about a dusknoir siting a pokemon that is the guardian to the spirit world that her brother was last seen interacting with finds it one night who tries to take her with it to the spirit world she tries to resist but part of her lets it happen and suddenly her bodies changes into one as well the other one is revealed to be her brother saying that they were only human temporarily and had a mission to protect people who are no longer of this world and keep normal people out of the spirit world.
