ash rings his mum to say he is coming home but she isn’t avaible at the time. ash and friends start walking to pallet town when he hits an invisible wall left by a mr mime which ash wants to catch but a girl from the circus shows up to catch it and brock stops ash trying without a good reason yet the girl from the circus explains there star a mr mime won’t preform and stella (the girl) is stuck for ideas so brock in another unfair idea gets ash to dress up as a mr mime to make the real one jealous. jessie and james are in trouble from giovanni for what happened to the gym but get away from trouble so far. misty agrees with brock about ash dressing up even though he is skecptical of his skills. ash takes part in the circus which his mum is at (ash notices that) and team rocket steal ash thinking its a mr mime. ash’s mum tells brock and misty about how she knew and ash gets away from team rocket who want revenge. ash’s mum finds a real mr mime thinking its ash but when ash turns up it leads to more confusion. team rocket attack the circus for revenge but the mr mime helps defeat them making a wall.
