9 teams depart foz de igacu for cape town south africa and nelson mandelas prison cell they must fly via sao paulo and get flights 10 minuts apart to that point but going to cape town is very hard peggy/claire oversleep their departure time but thats not the biggest problem they’ll face. all but one team go via london eventually (Gary/dave and mary/peach change in lisbon or milan before london) but peggy/claire have to go saopaulo-newyork-london-johenesburg-capetown and it is slow and miss the connection in london. the only team not to go via london is chris/alex going via frankfurt arriving 7th into cape town someteams are only on standby in london. with despite levaing 5 hours after some teams tara/will are on the best connection with gary/dave and oswald/danny arriving 7am while cyndi/russell who left sao paulo 1st acctually arrive 8th (10 minutes behind chris/alex). the next clue seends them to kalk bay harbour for a detour of dancing for dollars or delivering fish (only chris/alex and cyndi/russell do deliver) and the deliver teams work together. the next stop is langa township with mary/peach told not to go there for safety but go anyway. the roadblock is getting the ingredients for a sheep head and than drink/eat it a bit disgusting the lead 3 teams work together to navigate cape town. peggy/claire never ever catch up and are eliminated by a day.
