a tristar is landing in dallas in 1985 when it encounters severe wind shear and a microburst on a hot day they end up crashing on approach killing a man on the ground and most on board but there are survivors the cause of the accident is the weather which is imposisble to predict and the crew tried their hardest and almost saved the plane until a crosswind doomed them.
