yeah i’m going through a lot of my shows and writing episode reviews of them some like this for probably the last time and some that i have never covered before.
the 11 teams of season 1 are.
frank and margarita seperated with a baby daughter
paul and anmie recently engaged
km and lesslie friends from texas.
lenny and karyn dating and thinking of marriage.
dave and margeretta married grand parents 40 years.
matt and ana married in the army.
joe and bill life partners.
pat and brenda working mums
rob and brennan best friends attorneys
nancy and emily mother/daughter
kevin and drew faternity brothers.
the first clue sends them to johenesburg south africa on south african, swiss air or alitlalia. they have to figure out which is the best flight south african paul and anmie argue over money and end up on the last flight. joe/bill figure out south african is the beast flight. the next clue sends them to lanseria airport for charter flights to a mystery destination which spilts the south african flight into two groups. the mystery destination is livingstone zambia and the clue sends them to victoria falls either driving themselves or paying a driver 50 dollars. the bridge is stunning over it the next clue sends thme to absiel zambia top of batoka george while rob/brennan and dave/mageretta go for the fast forward which allows them to skip all tasks and head to the pitstop which is at a boil pot which the layers get allowing to get to songwe village the pitstop first dave/mageretta must go to the george. the next clue is a choice between two tasks called a detour which is either “air” a zip line and a swing or “land” a long hike. margarita is scared but not as much as paul but all teams choose air (dave/mageretta do it wrong and get a penalty). navigating zambia is tough for several teams matt/ana can’t pronounce correctly george and than get lost on the way to the pitstop eliminating them despite being ahead of kevin/drew at the detour.
