before i begin i will note that some cuurches in australia use seperate readings for australia day which is today however i decided to do the readings that my parish used which are the normal ones for this sunday used in most of the world.
luke 1 1-4 4 14-21
this is a story about how jesus taught in the synagoges about how the old testatment told of his coming and how some did not believe him as well as an early example of his teechings. it is quite interesting and shows how important it is to prepare for the coming of jesus and how a long time ago it was known that jesus was coming and will come again.
