on the way to litteroot town they run into a big storm which they get through just but lika gets injured on arrival they head for professor birches lab and meet a young girl named sophie who tells something to hide for now she says she is starting her jounrey however professor birch is missing and is told he was investigating a out of control mightyena hoarde so they head there ash hears sophie saying something odd which sounds like a wish for safety. they are able to rescue birch who than takes them to their lab.
