day 12 sees jonathan upset at the blindside of his ally charlie while rizzo is happy at the vote the contestants are then shocked to find out it is a merge while ozzy tries to get trust with emily and christian with his idol. christian is happy to see rick and the merge supprises everyone and takes credit for auburys idol which christian was it. genivive wants aubury out immediately by discrediting her and tells everyone she has an idol but doesn’t reveal that she had given rizzo an idol. coach is quite iritating still and tries to align with jonathan to get numbers but the game is up in the air. ozzy finds a note sending him to exile island again with one other person he chooses rizzo the rest of the tribe are now split into 3 groups for the first merger tribal with each of them being have to vote someone out. the twist is named blood moon. the challenge is the foot hold endurance which coach was the last loser in tocantins for the immunity necklace that nearly 7 in 8 fans voted for and the groups all will vote someone out with the last person winning reward for the team of applebees at the santucary. the challenge sees colby injured again with jonathan an early out as is cirie. with dee winning immunity (meaning if she wins this season she is the new qeuen of survivor undisputed) as coach becomes the last loser again. christian wins the next immunity against 3 of orange with stephenie winning her 2nd ever immunity (same as christian). this is dees 4th in her carrer. ozzy and rizzo have an alliance now. chrissy almost throws in the towel and the vote is between her and kamila. colby and coach are on the block for the other group while aubury and genivive in the last. the only vote that is interesting is the kamila vote 3-2 over chrissy (with tiffany left out) the others are 4-0 genivive (who plays her shot in the dark failed) and colby 4-0 (colby lost his vote a while ago).

this is the story of jesus teaching in the synagague from the book of isiah (which we use quite often as the first reading at mass). this is telling of his coming whichth e prophets talked about and is used probably at this mass as part of letting the preists remmeber that this is part of the mission to teach to the public.

it is holy week so we have a gospel reflection special for holy thursday (there will be one for good friday easter saturday and thte chrism mass as well as the usual sundday one).

john 3 1-15

this is the story of the last supper and how jesus washed his deciples feet and how he knew that he was about to go his father. it also shows the example of how the deciples later did jesuses teachings and at mass tonight some churches will have the washing of the feet. its also a story a little bit of moments you should cherish before someone passes which you can go through at any time.

liko tells lilash that ult is an old friend of hers and that he is a tough trainer who can mega evolve his pokemon this makes her interested in how the match will go. the battle starts well for lilash with her taking out his first 4 pokemon using nidorina but sabelye ends that run in a double knock out but his mega dragonite is another story and it knocks out several of lilashs pokemon even though she mega evolved her pidgeot so its down to pikachu v dragonite.

taking a boat for cinibar island the boat is attacked by team rocket and is damaged but something happens to lilash which reveals a bit more about randomly becoming a pikachu form and it is known there is more then known about this. they board lapras as the boat is too badly damaged.

shanghai china a korean air md-11 cargo flight 6316 with 61 tonnes of cargo and two pilots with an experienced crew with an excellent safety record and a flight technician. they release the parking breaks for the flight back to seoul the crew comment on the break tempreature which is not a serious issue and drops down in time but the captains worried. the crew start the engines and taxi to runway 18. the crew notice the temp is normal now as they are cleared for takeoff just after 4pm and the climb is normal initally the flight time is two hours. the crew get their climb out instructions to 1500 meters and turn left. the controller notices they are late to turn which worries him but the crew can’t find the navigation fix on the captains screen but the fo spots it as they turn the climb stops which confuses the fo and they near the asigned alitude it disappears from radar and nose dives into the ground in a speed too fast to be pikced up on radar the crew try and save the plane but fail killing all 3 on board instantly 7 miles from the airport 2 and a half minutes after takeoff with an earthquake equilivant of 1.6. the chinese lead the investigation with the ntsbs help with the fdr damaged really badly and they are worried that the cvr wasn’t installed they look at impact scars and figure out it nose dived but not why it wasn’t explosives. the controller is interviewed and reports the crew strugled to maintain the flight plan and noticed they weren’t doing the instructions well and when he thought it was safe was when it disappeared, the decent rate of 17000 feet per minute alarms the investigation they look at maitence records and find a tail strike at lax that took 63 days to repair but it doesn’t explain the crash as it didn’t break up in flight. they look at the control services but that also doesn’t add up as a cause. two weeks after the crash terrorism atc and maitence are ruled out. they look at the pilots with a lot of experience and no psychological burdens it looks like and at that point they find the cvr. they try situations out in the simulator and find it hard to recreate the problems as a stall or mechanical failure impossible so it looks iike pilot action which is still hard to recreate but they do thinking it was deliberate. they find the crew counfused at the instructions with altitude leading to them using the western system which they don’t they should have used chinese. the pre flight briefing had been skipped caued issues with the climb but the dive is still not explained. the pilots were trying to overcompinsate is what lead to the nose dive and loss of control. the meters v feet confusion was a part so they look at the training and find it is the only route with metric and its one video to learn and the captain had the only flight there before of the crew. the korean culture also had a part in why the fo didn’t speak up.

this is the season 26 final i expect season 27 around the same time next year with 10 new crashes to cover (or maybe 9 and a remake).

air india express flight 1344 is approaching to kozikhode internationnal airport india with captain deepak sathe 59 and fo akensi kahar who is 32 the weather is not good with 188 passengers during the pandemic with people returning home from dubai. 50 miles from the airport the crew begin their approaching briefing they ask for a weather update on the visilbillity which is 2000 meters. the airport itself is tricky when can cause anxiety. the runway is on a table top pleatu with deep step offs into a well. it is on a boeing 737-800 which is specially modified for difficult landings. they have the landing lights in sight and the windscreen wipers on when they realise the wipers have failed.but they abandon their landing 500 above minimums half a mile from the airport to try again due to the heavy rain. another crew contact the tower operating air india 425 requesting runway 10 for departure which is a change from runway 28 which will delay the landing of the air india express 1344. which changes the active runway to runway 10 with a visibillity update with 2000 meters with the wind changing. the localiser comes alive and they tell the crew to landing stations 6 miles out as they try the wipers a 2nd time but the captains has too slow a wiper they select flaps 25 and are on the ils in the light rain and are cleared to land 4 miles out and can see the runway before minimums they cross the threshhold and land arming the speed breaks and disarm the autobreaks but they don’t slow down fast enough going off the runway breaks apart killing 21 people of the 190 on board the rain helps with the rescue. 59 aren’t even injured. captain and the fo are among the dead. indias aaib arrive on the scene which is their first on home soil it was during the 2nd wave of covid so there were limitations on working on the investigation but it was all there so there was no breakup in flight. they figure out they were lined up properally and look at where it touched down and the rain had washed away the touched down point and the runway itself was tested for friction but it was standard and look at hydroplaning but theres no evidence and they look at the brakes but nothing wrong there either or the hydrolics. an airport camera points out they landed further down the runway then they should be. the cvr points out the runway change 3 and a half minutes before lanidng after the go around which they say was due to weather. and find out about the other air india flights request of the active runway change and agreeing. they do request clariification of weather conditions which were in limits and even with a tail wind could have happened. they even check the visibillity multiple times which might be concerning. they look at the landing procedure and find in the conditions they should have landed 3000 feet earlier. the crew concerns about the wiper also grabs the investigations attention and this is why the visibillity was a worry to the crew which make them think the cause. it is said it was working but not fast enough and they continue the approach against the rules. the altitude during the approach is confusing the investigations being 40 feet too high in a tail wind. they find to stabilize they pushed the throttles too far forward causing them to float down the runway instead of putting the plane down the weather lead to disorientation for the pilots and find that the thrust reversers and find the fos call for a go around was ignored due to the risk of diverting due to the rules. they look at the captains filght schedule and was on standby for the day after due to the airport rules meaning he had to as the flight the next day to doha would be cancelled due to hours and the airport rules. they look at the operatoins manual and find the disparity in crew. and find out that they weren’t prepared for landing with the distance calculation never done.
